theme : out in the sea..?

Went for the KLDW 09 somewhere around in March at CapSquare and a few other places such as The National Art Gallery and Le Meridien Hotel. Went with a big group of friends, well.. from my college who took up the course of Graphic Design and Multimedia. It was really an eye-opening trip as I was able to view works from professional designers. Forgotten to take my camera along. But I took few pics with my friend's phone camera. Anyways, I did take part in the ECO Bag Competition. Lucky enough, it was featured here, in both The Star newspaper and on their website . A small image of it though.

Hello peeps!

It sure had been quite awhile since i've last updated. sorry for the lack of updating. So this post will be about an ironman design which is placed to the penguin template. Absolutely amazing work from Mr. Theng Lik Tat, who also previously did the Maori-ish totem-like-penguin. thanks a lot for sending such marvelous artwork.

These designs are from a friend of mine named Bao Lui. Her design is based on circus joker clown face which gives a scary as well as unhappy kind of face. this would probably scare kids off! anyways, nice one bao lui :P

Chun-Li (from Street Fighter) penguin version~ .. which apparently this penguin likes to steal undergarments. HAHAHA

And lastly, a nasty dracula-like-penguin-with-wings-and-webbed feet.. :P

badge designs

3 penguins. wanted to do it in pop art, andy warhol's style but I figured out it might be cool to do it in halftone patterns.. so here it goes! each with different colours to represent each of 'em. the first one, purple+light blue in colour would be the the black penguin. second, orange+yellow would be the smallest penguin in light grey. and obviously the third one, green+light green is the dark grey penguin. some of you might feel the black and dark grey penguin looks the same. actually they aren't. the dark grey penguin's right eye appear to be smaller compared to the right. hahaha. please don't ask me why. just wanted to hv each of 'em with their own character, if you guys out there get it :) anyways, will post pics soon enough of the design on the badges..~

A Design from Mr.Theng

As you can see from the title of the post, the above picture was designed by Theng Lik Tat. A college friend of mine who is currently working at Ogilvy&Mather. If you've noticed, his designs are pretty similar to the ones on totems.. and that is pretty cool. simple designs on it and who knew he could transform a penguin template to that! ;P overall, thanks heap for your design and time being spent on it! :)
